IT Services at Northeastern, the university’s technology solutions provider, is expected to hire over 30 students into co-op positions for the Fall 2024 cycle. In one of these six-month, full-time positions, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about your university from new perspectives, gain valuable experience as part of a dynamic and fast-paced technology organization, and contribute to the solutions and support that directly impact your Northeastern experience and that of the entire Northeastern community.
Join Team ITS, a high-performing team of over 200 technology and support professionals. You’ll gain insight, coaching, and mentorship from our professional staff while also being part of a diverse cohort of Northeastern students.
Where You’ll Work
Team ITS is primarily based out of the Boston campus while supporting all of the university’s global campuses and communities. You’ll work all or most of your time out of our modern office space at 216 Mass Ave.
We’re located within the Christian Science Park Plaza in downtown Boston, just outside of campus and steps away from public transportation, green spaces, and plenty of options for food or after-work socials.
Our recently renovated space is large and inviting. From quiet nooks and booths perfect for focusing, to private AV-enabled conference rooms for hybrid meetings, to homey couches and chairs for more open collaboration and conversations, there’s a work environment suited for whatever type of work is on the agenda.
How You’ll Work
Co-ops will be fully immersed as members of Team ITS. Your ideas and opinions will be heard, your work will contribute to the department and division’s goals and vision, and you’ll be included in all the same social and professional development programming as the rest of ITS. There’ll also be unique co-op-specific programming for networking with the rest of your cohort and for furthering your skills.
Northeastern partners with some of the world’s leading technology companies, including Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, and ServiceNow. Depending on your role, you’ll likely have the opportunity to learn and engage with one or more of these technology solutions. As a result, you can gain practical experience with these technologies and better understand the business problems and needs that a customer such as Northeastern uses the software to solve.
